Out of the Fogby ~Chronos-Kun

A giant battle ship emerges from the dark, dense fog...

As the fog begins to break from the sunset along an isolated rocky island of a recently destroyed light house, a single man on the island actives an emergency flare to signal the ship to steer clear of the incoming, nearly visible piece of land! Or... perhaps is he in need of rescuing? Ultimately, will the ship's crew be able to see the small but powerful flare!? Or will it be a brutal crash into the jagged, rocky island!? The sunset can only provide so much light as it goes down while it battles with the dense fog of the ocean! As time ticks on, soon no more light!

First digital painting of 2013! woohoo! I'm going to rock this year with some great pieces! So many different ways this concept could be interpreted. More or less a mild suspense piece.

Very nice picture but dont you think that the building takes almost all the attention in this picture while the real focus should be on the ship?

This has occurred to me the more I look at it. Thanks for the observation.

Both subjects play an important role to the concept. But the ship does need more justice as the focal point.
